Linhagem

  • Usar o teclado: as setas deslocam o grafo, + e − fazem zoom e 0 enquadra; no Tab seguinte as setas andam pelos nós e o Enter seleciona.

Lineage

The explorer of the workspace's lineage: which sources each dataset comes from and which datasets, dashboards and models depend on it. The graph joins foreign keys, view SQL, dbt, OpenLineage and declared edges, and a dataset you have no access to shows up as "Restricted dataset", without its name.

What you can do

  • See the whole graph and filter it by Domain or Connection; zoom with Ctrl or ⌘ and the mouse wheel, or with the + and − buttons, drag to pan and use Fit to view to see everything again. The legend below the graph says what each line means.
  • Choose a Dataset in focus and expand its neighbourhood hop by hop, Upstream and Downstream.
  • Choose in Colour by what the nodes show: Trust (the catalogue's trust score, such as "Trust B · 74"), the quality score, open issues, sensitivity or certification.
  • Select a dataset and use Show the columns to see column-level lineage: in the graph, linked between two expanded datasets; in the dataset panel and in the List, written out, with the source and the target of each column.
  • Choose a Path from one dataset to another and use Show path to see the shortest path, in the direction of the flow or the opposite one.
  • Export the view as PNG, SVG or JSON, or switch to the List tab to see it as a hierarchical list.
  • Use the keyboard: the arrow keys pan the graph, + and − zoom and 0 fits the view; after the next Tab the arrow keys move between nodes and Enter selects.
