Terms of Service

Last updated: December 2026 · version 2026-12

1. The service

BeryX is a data quality platform operated by BeryxTech. It connects to the data sources the customer configures, in strictly read-only mode, to measure quality, detect problems and propose fixes. BeryX never writes to, changes or deletes data in the customer's sources — applying any fix is always done by the customer, on their own systems.

2. Account and responsibilities

Accounts are created on behalf of an organisation (workspace). The administrator is responsible for managing team access and for ensuring they are authorised to connect the configured data sources. BeryX credentials are personal and non-transferable.

The customer agrees not to use the service unlawfully, not to attempt to access other workspaces' data, and not to circumvent technical limits of the subscribed plan. The admin who enables a public link, a badge or a third-party integration decides what is disclosed and is responsible for that disclosure.

3. Plans, limits and billing

The Free plan has the limits published on the pricing page and requires no payment method. Paid plans are billed as agreed at subscription time; payments are processed by Stripe and the subscription is managed in the billing portal, from within the application. When a plan limit is reached the service degrades in an announced way (it stops creating new resources) — it never deletes existing data because of a limit.

4. Customer data

Analysed data belongs to the customer. BeryX stores metadata, metrics and the limited samples needed to provide the service; source credentials are encrypted before persistence. The customer can export their data and permanently delete the workspace at any time, from within the application.

When AI features are enabled, data may be sent to the model providers listed as sub-processors in the Privacy Policy, exclusively to produce the requested analysis and within the data classes described there: by default only Anthropic receives samples; other providers may only receive metadata and, with the customer's authorisation, anonymised samples. When the customer uses their own key or the models in their own AWS or Google Cloud account, that provider processes the data on the customer's behalf. All AI-generated content is labelled as such, in compliance with Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.

BeryxTech only accesses a workspace's data with the consent of a customer admin, read-only and for the approved period (up to 72 hours).

5. Availability and support

BeryxTech uses commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available. No plan includes a service-level agreement (SLA) by default: an SLA only binds BeryxTech when it is part of a contract signed with the customer.

Support channels, hours and first-response times by plan are set out in the BeryxTech support policy. They are service targets, not an SLA with service credits. The email channel, suporte@praxis.lbostuff.tech, is always available.

6. Limitation of liability

BeryX produces measurements, alerts and suggestions — deciding to act on them is up to the customer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeryxTech's total liability is limited to the amounts paid by the customer in the 12 months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms with reasonable notice by email or in the application. The version in force is shown at the top of the page and the change history lists earlier ones. The customer may stop using the service at any time by deleting the workspace; switching to another provider follows section 8. BeryxTech may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with prior notice except in cases of serious abuse.

8. Switching provider and data exit

Clauses pending legal review. This section applies Chapter VI of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (Data Act) and has not yet been legally reviewed. Values marked “to be confirmed” may change.

The customer may at any time ask to switch to another data processing service provider or to its own on-premises infrastructure, or to erase all of the workspace's exportable data without switching. Requests are made in writing to suporte@praxis.lbostuff.tech. The notice period is 2 months (legal maximum; to be confirmed), counted from receipt of the request.

Once the notice period ends, the transition begins: switching takes place without undue delay and within 30 calendar days at most. If that period is technically unfeasible, BeryxTech informs the customer within 14 working days of the request, explains why and sets an alternative period of no more than 7 months. The customer may extend the transition once, for the period it considers more appropriate.

During the notice period and the transition the contract remains in force and BeryxTech:

  • keeps the service running, with the contracted features;
  • cooperates in good faith with the customer and anyone it authorises, including the new provider, and gives the customer the information it needs for its exit strategy;
  • delivers an export of all exportable data, in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • informs the customer of known risks to the continuity of the service;
  • keeps the data secure during the transfer and during the retrieval period.

The exhaustive list of exportable data categories, and of the data left out with the reason for each, is in the public format register on the Data portability page. Data excluded because it belongs to the internal operation of the service never delays or prevents switching.

After the transition, the customer has at least 30 days (to be confirmed) to retrieve the data. Once that period ends, and switching is complete, BeryxTech permanently and irreversibly erases all of the workspace's exportable data, including data generated by the customer or relating directly to it, as the application's “Delete workspace” button does. Backups are not edited: that data only disappears from them when the backups expire, within the backup retention period in the Privacy Policy (to be confirmed).

The contract ends when switching is complete, and BeryxTech informs the customer of it. If the customer asks only for its data to be erased, the contract ends at the end of the notice period.

Until 11 January 2027, switching charges, including data egress, do not exceed the costs BeryxTech incurs directly in the switching. From 12 January 2027, switching carries no charges (Art. 29 of the Data Act). The export in the application is free of charge. Early termination penalties: to be confirmed.

The jurisdiction of BeryX's infrastructure and the measures against international governmental access to non-personal data are described in Jurisdiction and governmental access.
